It's a heartbreaking job - sometimes.

I've mentioned before how the hardest thing is loosing a client. I'm still amazed at how attached I get to my furry clients after just one visit! But when they have been with me for a while, it makes it even harder. And while I know its selfish and impractical of me, I always want to be included by either getting the chance for one last rub or being there when they transition.

Yesterday one of my longest standing clients, Dom the Boxer, was let go to run pain free. As always, it is a good and a bad thing. It will be sad to visit all the other dogs in the house with out him being there but all didn't want him to suffer anymore. And thanks to Amy (amyspetsitting.com) - Dom's person - who rescued him from a horrific situation and made his last years his best years filled with love!
