Distance Learning Part 2
To be certified in Washington, I needed to take at least two courses with NWSAM. My feeling is that since this is such a new practice in my area, the most types of clients I was going to get would be senior or suffering animals so I signed up right away for the Level 300 course - Rehabilitation. This couse was far more intense than the first. Tons of medical information - which surprised me a bit since we are NOT vets and don't do any diagnosing at all. But the techniques I learned and could put to practice would be beneficial for all the animals. I studied way more for this practical than the first and was all set to take my next hand's on training - in Portland Oregon and their Humane Society.
